PB JigV2.3 Full Kit

JigV2.3 takes the lessons learned from my first jig of 2015 and adds better usability with full length and angle scales. Setup from BikeCAD to jig is a breeze. Built on tried and true 8020-40 series extrusions, V2.3 is designed for modularity and expandability. Whether you’re starting out or have been around the block, this jig will grow with you as a frame builder just as the original did with me ten years ago!

Specs:

Head Tube

• Angle - 50 to 90 degrees
• Max Distance Between Cones - 250mm
• BB to Head Tube Bottom Vertical Range - 550mm

Seat Tube

• Angle - 64 to 90 degrees. The top clamp stops at 64 but the engraved scale goes to 60. This is because 60 degree angle is possible but the top clamp cannot be used. Instead a common parallel clamp can be used to secure the extrusion at this uncommon angle.
• BB and ST Cone Range - 600mm

Axle

• Height (BB drop/rise) - positive 170 to negative 160
• Axle distance to Head Tube Bottom range - 1080mm to 270mm

Centerline Offset from Spine (effective work space) 155mm

Out of the box Compatibility

• Head Tube - IS42, IS52, 44mm, (min dia 28, max dia 55)
• Bottom Bracket - T47, BSA, MID, max BB length 168mm
• Dummy Axle Interface (dummy axle not included) - .500”OD X 2.50” width to fit modern jigs.

Other Features:

• PETG Handles slide off (leaving the metal securing nut in place) In case of close proximity to heat.
• PETG BB quick centering spacer pops off leaving the stainless split collar in place in case of close proximity to heat.
